The following Florida counties are eligible for an extended filing deadline of 2022 tax returns and certain other considerations. The extended deadline is now February 15, 2024 for returns due on September 15, 2023, or October 16, 2023. Please contact our office for more information.
Florida counties eligible as of 8.27.2023:
Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Calhoun, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Lee, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Manatee, Marion, Nassau, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia and Wakulla counties .
Certain areas of California, affected by recent rainfall, flooding and mudslides are eligible for tax deadline filing relief. The filing relief deadline previously extended to this past May has now been extended to October 16, 2023.
